Hope Church is a newly formed mission church of the Presbyterian Church in America meeting in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. We are a group of sinners saved by grace seeking to: love the Triune God through gospel worship that is theologically rich and liturgically reverent; love one anther through gospel community that is intentional and authentic; and love others in our community through gospel service and proclomation that gives eternal comfort and good hope through grace.
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word. -2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
A warm welcome and opportunity for authentic community. We like living life together at Hope, and we hope you feel the same.
A multigenerational congregation. We have members from 8 years-old to 80 years-old and everything in-between.
A worship service that is casual, reverent, and Scripture-saturated. There’s no need to get overly dressed or worry about children getting fussy during worship. We’re here to worship God, not perform for Him. A nursery is provided after the song portion of the service.
A leadership team that is spiritually mature and is available to help you you worship, live, and grow in the grace of Christ. To find out more about our leadership and hear sermons from our lead pastor, click here.
This is because we are a church plant and don’t own our own building. But that has recently changed and we plan to begin having morning services in the near future.
No, we want to teach our children to worship alongside their parents in the community of faith. However, children 5 and under are welcome to leave for the nursery after the song potion of the service where they will receive age appropriate instruction.
Some Presbyterian denominations have become liberal in recent decades. Hope Church, on the other hand, is a conservative, evangelical, bible-believing, gospel-centered Church committed to the historic Christian Faith. See here for our beliefs.
Yes, most of us did not grow up Presbyterian, and you don’t have to subscribe to all of the tenets of Presbyterianism to be a member of Hope Church.
